Meet the Manager

If you’ve dropped by the Udder Upp Cafe at Kuehnert Milk House to dine in or pick up a pizza, chances are you’ve spotted Kristy Sell at work. She’s been the Cafe Manager since June 2024, and came to Kuehnert’s from an experienced background in food service.

Kristy, a native Hoosier, grew up just southeast of Fort Wayne in Decatur. Right now she’s excited about the wedding of her eldest daughter, Cassidy, 23 — coming up in late May! She also has two other children, 19-year-old twins Maggie and Cody.

“It’s fun here,” she said of heading up the Udder Upp. “I tell myself that I make pizzas and scoop ice cream for a living — and that’s a good way to earn it. And no two days are quite the same!”

When she’s not working, Kristy humorously noted she likes both working out and enjoying good food: “The two kind of go hand-in-hand.” She also appreciates listening to songs from many genres of music, especially if it’s live music.
